Last week, Crossfield visited An Hour For Others (AHFO), a Liverpool-based charity whose aim is to build stronger communities and inspire positive change.
Each year, the charity operates a ‘Christmas Kindness’ initiative, supporting families who are facing financial struggles and elderly who are living in isolation.
As a result of this year’s events, the support required during 2020 has been greater than ever. Many residents are self-employed, have lost their jobs or even their businesses, so the power of unity has been essential in protecting those most vulnerable.
An Hour For Others has received a multitude of gifts throughout this festive season, which have been kindly donated by local people. Our staff members helped with last week’s drop-offs, whereby the volunteers drive to every corner of the city delivering these presents to those most in need.
Whilst visiting the charity, Crossfield also donated 20 vouchers to be given as Christmas gifts to some of the hundreds of people that AHFO provide for.
Witnessing the hard work of this amazing organisation and how it puts smiles on the faces of so many children was truly inspiring.
From all of us at Crossfield: we wish the volunteers and the families they support a happy, healthy and peaceful Christmas!
