Full refurbishment of the patients’ kitchen at the hospital with all works being carried out within a full operational environment.
The project, which we carried out across two phases was not just situated in a live environment, but also adjacent to a live open kitchen for patients. This brings many sensitivities to the work being carried out as the environment needs to be sterile due to the infection control in a hospital setting. Our Project Manager had daily walk around with the infection control team, who have the highest of standards, and this demonstrates the high-quality working and rigour we set across all of our projects.
Our works further included a full decant of staff whilst we carried out each phase. Much of this work had to be carried out over night to ensure minimal disruption to daily operations. Our extensive logistics strategy was absolutely critical to ensure our decant work was carried our seamlessly.
