Crossfield have successfully secured a place on the new Torus Development Framework.
Delighted at how well our bid scored, we have been awarded a place on lot 1 of the framework in the £0-£10m category.
Torus launched its Development Framework to support the size and scale of the Group’s construction activity in the Liverpool City Region, Cheshire and Lancashire. They have appointed 12 local and regional contractors to support their ever-growing development programme.
The affordable housing developer will work with appointed contractors on a number of sites over the coming years to continue its expansion into regions outside of its traditional investment areas, and to support multiple new build projects.
Steve Alcock, Director of Development & Sales for Torus Group, said: “Having an established framework of contractors is paramount to ensuring we meet our target of building 5,300 homes by 2024.
“We’re thrilled to be working with some of the best local and regional contractors over the next couple of years and continuing our support of our local economy.”
Crossfield’s relationship with the developer has gone from strength to strength during the construction of The Vaults in Liverpool city centre. This new build apartment scheme for Torus Homes will see our Construction business bring disused and derelict land back into use, creating 62 homes in the Baltic Triangle.
Meanwhile, the Crossfield Living team is on site at the former Burscough FC’s ground, providing 52 affordable homes in another scheme for Torus.
We look forward to building on this ongoing partnership and supporting the Group’s ambitious plans to build over 5,000 homes across the North West in the next five years.
